Tikka
Tikka is a petite Chow with boundless puppy energy and a heart full of sweetness (and check out that cute underbite!). She’s learning quickly how to interact with other dogs, and it’s a joy to see her enthusiasm for play, especially with her foster's pack. Around people, she’s nothing but affectionate and eager to connect.
While Tikka has a few quirks, they’re nothing she can’t handle. She’s wary of men, but each day brings small victories as she learns to trust. She has some food-guarding tendencies with dogs (though not with humans), so her foster mom is working on creating a calm and structured environment during mealtime. She’s great on a leash, and her eagerness to please makes her progress both rewarding and exciting to witness.
Tikka’s story is one of growth: Her playful personality is shining through as she becomes more confident and socialized. She’s a little spark of joy, and with time, patience, and love, Tikka is well on her way to becoming the amazing dog she’s meant to be.

Siri
Siri is a very sweet 2-year-old Chow mix who is eager to please and loves to play with other dogs! She also knows how to settle down and relax in her crate, giving you the best of both worlds. She is a little shy but is getting more confident on a daily basis.
She does play a little rough with her doggy companions, but she takes correction from other dogs very well. Due to her timid nature, she is cautious around cats and may be fine with a feline sibling with proper introductions. If you are looking for a good snuggle buddy on the couch while you watch your favorite TV show, Siri is the girl for you.

Grasshopper
Grasshopper is one of Junebug's pups. This guy is much calmer than most of his siblings and just likes to hang around. His tail goes crazy when he gets pets. He is good with other dogs...mostly when they are calm. He is also good with cats and children.

Bumblebee
Bumblee is one of Junebug's pups. As the only girl, Bumblebee is calm and quiet. She loves human company and is a real snuggle bug. She is good with dogs, cats, and children.

Cricket
Cricket is one of Junebug's pups. He is always jumping on and playing with his siblings. He is the most playful of the group, and likes to get into mischief with Termite (shown on the right). Cricket is the scheming friend saying "I double dog dare you!" He is affectionate, like his siblings, but he prefers play over cuddles. Cricket is good with dogs, cats, and children.

Teriyaki
Teriyaki came from a packed Texas shelter, quiet and unsure of the world around him. But just a short time in foster care has revealed a different side of this deep-hearted boy—one that’s affectionate, loyal, and slowly learning that he’s safe.
He’s a true lovebug, accepting affection from everyone he meets. He’s especially bonded with his foster dad—he’s even claimed a spot on his side of the bed. Once Teriyaki gives his heart, it’s yours.
Leash training is still in progress—he’s strong as an ox and has a definite prey drive (deer are very exciting). But he’s improving, step by step. He’s not food-motivated, but calm praise makes all the difference.

Chowlilah
Chowlilah is a playful, affectionate, and smart chow mix pup who is ready to charm her forever family! Born June 11, 2025, she’s currently thriving in foster care.

- Full of energy and will need an active family who can keep up with her puppy antics.
- Hilariously loves water—treats a full water bowl like her own private splash pool!

Gonzo
Meet Gonzo, a charming young pup with the sweetest spirit and the cutest face to match! About 1 year old and weighing around 24 lbs, this little guy may be small, but he’s packed with personality and love.
Gonzo is a gentle soul who’s still learning that the world can be a safe, happy place. He can be shy at first, but give him a little time — and maybe a treat or two — and you’ll see his tail start to wag. He’s already showing how brave and affectionate he can be once he feels comfortable.
He’s doing great with crate training and loves having his own cozy spot to relax. Since he’s not quite ready to hang out with other dogs yet, he’s been practicing independence — and he’s getting really good at it! Gonzo is ready to shine. This sweet boy just needs someone patient and kind to help him continue building confidence and discovering how wonderful life can be.
