Meet Holley! She has the looks of a Tootsie Roll and the enthusiasm of the perfect adventure buddy. If your ideal day includes walking, running, hiking, or exploring somewhere new, Holley would love to tag along.
Holley is one of the Motor Club Pups and has been surrounded by love since day one. She was born in her foster home, where she and her siblings have grown up together, playing, exploring, and enjoying puppyhood.
These days, Holley has become best buddies with Swift, another Houston Chow Chow Connection pup from a different litter. With her high energy and play drive, we require Holley go to a home with another playful dog companion!
Holley is ready to find an active family that will embrace her playful personality and include her in life's adventures. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick who will keep you smiling, Holley just might be your perfect match. She’s ready to go, go, go!
Leash training in progress. She has not been tested around young children, but grew up in a house of adults only. Because of her size and puppy energy, we recommend a home with older children only.
Holley is currently being fostered in Hallsville, TX.

Suki has reached a wonderful milestone — she’s feeling good, healing beautifully, and ready to find her forever home. After thorough veterinary care, it was discovered that Suki had suffered past head trauma that caused swelling, infection, and discomfort. Once a hidden bone fragment was removed, her body began to heal almost immediately — and the change has been remarkable.
Today, Suki is brighter, more comfortable, happier, more playful, and clearly feeling like herself again. While she still has follow-up care and possible specialty treatment ahead, she’s in a stable place and ready to move forward into a loving home where she can continue healing surrounded by care and consistency.
Suki is a gentle, resilient girl with a calm spirit and a sweet heart. She’s handled everything thrown her way with grace and trust, and she’s ready for a new chapter filled with safety and love.
Suki is currently being fostered in Austin, TX.

Bobcat is the kind of dog who keeps life interesting. Equal parts goofy, independent, and charming, he's looking for a home that can match his energy and appreciation for adventure.
When Bobcat first arrived, shelter stress and boredom likely played a big role in his behavior. As he's settled into foster care, his true personality has come shining through.
Today, he's a happy, silly boy who loves attention, enjoys playtime, and has become increasingly affectionate with the people he trusts. One of his favorite hobbies? Bringing rocks to his people and insisting they be thrown. Balls are fine. Sticks are okay. But rocks? Those are the real prize. (PSA: No rocks were swallowed in the training of this pup!)
Highlights:
• Happy, goofy personality
• Loves adventures and staying active
• Becoming more snuggly and affectionate every day
• Smart and engaged
• Shows positive interest in meeting other dogs
• Food and treat motivated
• Thrives when given attention, enrichment, and things to do
Bobcat is a classic Chow in many ways. He enjoys companionship but also likes doing his own thing. The bond you build with him feels earned, making those moments when he asks for affection even more special.
His ideal home will be one that keeps him mentally and physically engaged. Whether that's walks, hikes, training, yard time, or daily adventures, Bobcat is happiest when he's included and has an outlet for his energy. Bobcat is ready for a family that appreciates his personality, respects his independence, and is excited to make him part of their everyday adventures.
Bobcat is currently being fostered in San Marcos, TX.

Timothee for short. Big paws. Big heart. Big potential. At just 10 months old, Timothee is already shaping up to be one handsome, smart, BIG boy. He’s a Chow mix with an absolutely gorgeous silky coat that feels more like a Lab than a typical Chow, and those oversized paws tell us he’s definitely not finished growing!
But his best feature? His personality.
Timothee is a total lover. When he sees someone who might be willing to give him some attention, he’ll happily flop onto his back for belly rubs. He gives kisses, loves affection, and has that goofy, endearing personality that makes you smile.
He’s currently in a social foster home where he’s building confidence, learning new skills, and getting plenty of positive exposure to the world. He’s already doing well with respectful dogs and enjoys social play without being overly energetic. He’s just as happy playing as he is hanging out and being goofy with his friends.
He’s still working on leash walking and can occasionally get overwhelmed in unfamiliar places, but his foster is helping him learn that new experiences are nothing to fear. With his intelligence, gentle nature, and continued socialization, we expect this handsome boy to keep blossoming.
Timothee Chowlemet is the kind of dog who has so much potential waiting to come out. Give him a little guidance, a little patience, and a lot of love — and you’ll have one seriously special companion. And those paws? We have a feeling they’re going to be attached to a VERY big love.
Timothee Chowlemet is currently being fostered in Texas.

If you're looking for a young Chow with a sweet, gentle nature, Rizzy may be your girl. At just 1 year old and 44 pounds, Rizzy is a quiet companion who loves affection once she knows you're a friend. Neck scratches are her favorite, and she'll happily lean against you for attention and love. She also enjoys being around other dogs and is always interested in making new canine friends.
Highlights:
- Excellent house manners
- Never soils her crate
- Interested in other dogs
Personality:
Rizzy is a classic young Chow—gentle, observant, and thoughtful. She prefers to take a little time getting to know new people and can be shy when approached by strangers. She may bark or huff at unfamiliar people at first, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality quickly comes through.
She is currently knocking leash training out of the park and becoming more confident around new people. Every day she continues to show just how loving and affectionate she can be with those she trusts! Rizzy is looking for a family that appreciates the special bond Chows are known for—one built on trust, patience, and loyalty.
Rizzy is currently being fostered in Longview, TX.

When Mac first arrived in foster care, she needed time to decompress and learn that she was finally safe. Her foster let her move at her own pace, never rushing the process, and watching her confidence blossom has been such a joy.
Today, Mac is a loving, loyal companion who has truly settled into foster life. She has a big bark, especially when she's in her crate, and can sound much tougher than she really is. Most of the time, she's simply letting everyone know she's ready to come out and spend time with her people! Anyone else have a chow like this?!
Like many Chow Chows, Mac is thoughtful about who she lets into her circle. She's made wonderful progress with other dogs and now enjoys playing with her look-alike foster sister, Rizzy, after slow, respectful introductions.
She is selective with canine companions and has shown a preference for female dogs, along with a dislike for males. Because of this, we believe she'd thrive either as an only dog or with a calm, compatible female who respects her boundaries.
She's doing great with her crate routine, is making excellent progress on leash, and every now and then can't resist throwing in a happy little zoomie before remembering she's supposed to be walking.
Mac isn't looking for someone who expects instant perfection. She's looking for someone who understands that trust is built with patience, consistency, and kindness. If you're willing to give her that gift, she'll repay you with one of the most rewarding bonds you'll ever experience. At just 37 pounds, she's the perfect size to fit into your home—and, eventually, your heart.
Mac is currently being fostered in Longview, TX.

Wild hair - don't care! Just like my namesake! Meet Kramer: a young, happy-go-lucky Chow Chow who just turned 3 months old!
Hi friends! I am looking for a home with someone to raise me with love and direction! No problems with being handled, walked, brushed or fed. I’m dog-friendly with proper introductions to any dogs I have met!!
My foster mom says I'm an absolute delight! I’m eager to see more of life with a forever human companion! I’m also FULLY potty trained, FULLY crate trained, and working on leash training!
I am best suited for a home with children over 12 that will respect my young energy by redirecting me to toys, teaching obedience and showing loving patience. I’m very smart already, but still learning about my sharp baby teeth. I may give you side-eye at the vet, but that is the only negative temperament I’ve shown!
Kramer is currently being fostered in Austin, TX.
