Suki has reached a wonderful milestone — she’s feeling good, healing beautifully, and ready to find her forever home. After thorough veterinary care, it was discovered that Suki had suffered past head trauma that caused swelling, infection, and discomfort. Once a hidden bone fragment was removed, her body began to heal almost immediately — and the change has been remarkable.
Today, Suki is brighter, more comfortable, happier, more playful, and clearly feeling like herself again. While she still has follow-up care and possible specialty treatment ahead, she’s in a stable place and ready to move forward into a loving home where she can continue healing surrounded by care and consistency.
Suki is a gentle, resilient girl with a calm spirit and a sweet heart. She’s handled everything thrown her way with grace and trust, and she’s ready for a new chapter filled with safety and love.
Suki is currently being fostered in Austin, TX.

Kelsey is ready to go to her forever home! Apply today to take home your very own teddy bear. Yes, believe it or not, the squishable fuzzy bear in the photo is ACTUALLY a dog under all that fluff!!... and we couldn't love her anymore!
After narrowly escaping euthanasia, this beautiful Chow girl is finally safe and decompressing in a loving foster home — and she’s showing just how special she is. Within her first hour, Kelsey was accepting kisses, full-body pets (yes, even belly rubs!), and choosing to lay right next to her person on her own.
- Exceptionally sweet and gentle
- Loves human attention and closeness
- Calm, affectionate, and emotionally tuned-in
As Kelsey continues to decompress, she’s thriving most when things are calm and her space is respected. She may do best solo in a home that allows for thoughtful, low-pressure introductions and a peaceful routine so she can continue blossoming at her own pace. If you’re Chow-savvy and looking for a deeply loving companion, Kelsey may be your girl.
Kelsey is currently being fostered in Ft. Worth, TX.

Meet Lucky Bucky, the adorable young pup with the floppy puppy ears that everyone instantly falls in love with! At about a year old and 44 lbs, he’s a great medium size — perfect for adventures, walks, and plenty of couch snuggles.
Lucky Bucky is a happy, affectionate boy who seems to carry sunshine wherever he goes. With his sweet nature and playful spirit, he’s the kind of dog who just wants to be near his people and soak up all the love he can get.
He’s heartworm negative and ready to start the next chapter of his life with a family of his very own. Recently he had to get a shave around his neck, and the shelter also had to clean off a black tar-like substance that was stuck in his fur around his neck, backside, and paws. Because of that cleanup and grooming, you might notice his coat looks a little uneven right now — like the extra fluff on his cheek. That’s simply from the grooming process and his beautiful mane and coat will grow back in with time!
For now, we think it just adds a little extra character to this already charming boy.
Lucky Bucky is currently being fostered in Red Oak, IA.

Kashik — lovingly called Kash — spent nearly his entire life with one person. Right before the holidays, his world changed forever when his owner became ill and passed away. After almost five years in the only home he had ever known, Kash suddenly found himself alone and spending Christmas in animal control.
Today, Kash is safe and thriving in foster care in Florida, and he’s finally ready to find the forever family he deserves. This 5-year-old, 52-lb sweetheart has proven to be a wonderful companion. He loves car rides (and happily jumps in himself), enjoys walks, and absolutely adores toys — especially squeaky ones. Toys truly make him happy and help bring out his playful side.
Kash has met many other dogs and has been a complete gentleman with all of them. He enjoys calmly hanging out with canine friends but is just as content relaxing near his people. After spending time outdoors watching squirrels and birds, he’s happiest cooling off inside with a toy close by.
In the home, Kash is easy to live with:
- Fully house trained — no accidents
- Comfortable staying home during the workday
- Calm and well-mannered indoors
- Friendly with new people while thoughtfully observant
Kash has already experienced heartbreaking loss, and what he wants most now is stability, companionship, and a family who will never let him feel forgotten again.
Kahik is currently being fostered in Florida.

Blaze is alive today because an entire village came together when he needed it most. Not that long ago, this handsome boy was sitting in the Oklahoma City shelter facing euthanasia. Thanks to an incredible team effort — rescuers, fosters, transport volunteers, and supporters — Blaze was given the second chance every dog deserves.
Now safely in Pennsylvania, Blaze is leaving his past behind and looking toward something he’s never truly had before: a forever home. Through all the change and travel, Blaze has shown resilience and a gentle spirit. Beneath his rough start is a dog ready to bond deeply with his people and finally settle into a life of safety and love.
What Blaze Is Looking For
- A patient adopter who will give him time to decompress
- A stable home committed to continuing his progress
- A family ready to watch a rescue dog truly blossom
Blaze has already had many heroes help him survive — now he needs someone to help him belong.
Blaze is currently being fostered in Pennsylvania.

This is Rusty, a handsome young chow mix who narrowly escaped euthanasia at the shelter due to a minor health issue. Thanks to the dedication of local rescue teams, Rusty is safe and ready to find his forever home.
About Rusty:
Age: Approximately 1 year
Weight: 50 lbs (just needs a few extra pounds)
Temperament: Calm, affectionate, and people-loving. He’s been crate-trained and adjusts well to his temporary home.
Dog-friendly: Yes, with most dogs. Not cat-friendly. Kid compatibility not tested.
Special Notes: Rusty has a shorter coat than a typical chow, but he rocks the classic chow expression and tongue! He has a slightly limited range of motion in one front leg due to an old injury, but it doesn’t slow him down.
Rusty has faced more than his share of challenges, but he’s proving to be resilient, sweet, and loving every step of the way. He’s currently in temporary care and ready to meet the family who will give him the love he deserves.
Rusty is currently being fostered in Las Cruces, NM.

Mojo Jojo spent far too long trying to survive on his own — and heartbreakingly, he was being picked on by other dogs in the neighborhood. Instead of becoming reactive or defensive, he stayed soft. Submissive. Kind. That tells you everything about who he is.
Now safe in Richardson, TX, this 2-year-old, 49-lb sweetheart is finally getting the chance to feel secure.
Mojo Jojo is:
- Affectionate and people-loving
- Submissive and gentle
- Good with other dogs
- Heartworm negative
He doesn’t want conflict — he wants connection. He’s the kind of boy who leans into you for comfort, who watches you with soft, trusting eyes, and who just wants to belong. After being bullied, he still chooses kindness. That’s the kind of spirit you can’t teach.
Mojo Jojo is currently being fostered in Richardson, TX.
