Mojo Jojo spent far too long trying to survive on his own — and heartbreakingly, he was being picked on by other dogs in the neighborhood. Instead of becoming reactive or defensive, he stayed soft. Submissive. Kind. That tells you everything about who he is.
Now safe in Richardson, TX, this 2-year-old, 49-lb sweetheart is finally getting the chance to feel secure.
Mojo Jojo is:
- Affectionate and people-loving
- Submissive and gentle
- Good with other dogs
- Heartworm negative
He doesn’t want conflict — he wants connection. He’s the kind of boy who leans into you for comfort, who watches you with soft, trusting eyes, and who just wants to belong. After being bullied, he still chooses kindness. That’s the kind of spirit you can’t teach.
Mojo Jojo is currently being fostered in Richardson, TX.

Kashik — lovingly called Kash — spent nearly his entire life with one person. Right before the holidays, his world changed forever when his owner became ill and passed away. After almost five years in the only home he had ever known, Kash suddenly found himself alone and spending Christmas in animal control.
Today, Kash is safe and thriving in foster care in Florida, and he’s finally ready to find the forever family he deserves. This 5-year-old, 52-lb sweetheart has proven to be a wonderful companion. He loves car rides (and happily jumps in himself), enjoys walks, and absolutely adores toys — especially squeaky ones. Toys truly make him happy and help bring out his playful side.
Kash has met many other dogs and has been a complete gentleman with all of them. He enjoys calmly hanging out with canine friends but is just as content relaxing near his people. After spending time outdoors watching squirrels and birds, he’s happiest cooling off inside with a toy close by.
In the home, Kash is easy to live with:
- Fully house trained — no accidents
- Comfortable staying home during the workday
- Calm and well-mannered indoors
- Friendly with new people while thoughtfully observant
Kash has already experienced heartbreaking loss, and what he wants most now is stability, companionship, and a family who will never let him feel forgotten again.
Kahik is currently being fostered in Florida.

This March, Mamaki finally got her lucky break… and now she’s hoping her forever family is right around the corner.
When Mamaki first came to our attention, things were uncertain and space was limited. Her notes didn’t tell the whole story — but someone chose to look a little closer and discovered a sweet, wonderful girl just waiting for a chance to shine.
After leaving the stressful environment behind, Mamaki began adjusting to home life. Like many dogs experiencing freedom for the first time, her first hours were a little overwhelming — but with patience and kindness, she quickly settled in and has been showing her true, loving personality ever since. Now she’s decompressing, learning routines, and proving she’s truly a little piece of good luck for whoever welcomes her home.
Mamaki’s Lucky Stats
- 2 years old
- 47 lbs
- Cat friendly
- Dog friendly — large and small dogs
- People friendly
- Sweet, affectionate, and resilient
- Thriving in a home environment
They say luck finds those who need it most — and Mamaki is ready for the next chapter of hers: a safe home, a loving family, and a lifetime of belonging.
Mamaki is currently being fostered in College Station, TX.

Freckles joined our program through a truly special collaboration with Operation Kindness, built around one shared goal: giving dogs the best possible chance at finding their forever homes.
Freckles is a sweet, easygoing boy with a gentle heart and a personality that makes him instantly lovable. He’s friendly, adaptable, and settles in quickly with his people.
He has shown respectful curiosity around cats — even backing away when corrected — showing just how thoughtful and soft-natured he can be.
Freckles isn’t asking for much — just a family to call his own, a cozy place to rest, and humans to share life’s everyday moments with.
Freckles is currently being fostered in Austin, TX.
