Bubbles

Bubbles and her sister Pickles came from a situation where they were originally purchased thinking they were tiny Pomeranians… and surprise—they just kept growing. Bubbles is a calm, affectionate girl who loves her people deeply. She greets you at the door like you’re the best part of her day and prefers to stay close wherever you are—especially if that’s the bed.

She’s very touch-oriented and will gently paw or nudge you when she wants attention. She’s still a puppy and teething, so she may occasionally get into things she shouldn’t if things get too quiet but overall she’s easygoing, crate comfortable, and a slow, thoughtful eater. Plus, she is good with other dogs.

Bubbles is currently being fostered in Killeen, TX.

Rumpelstiltskin

When Rumpelstiltskin arrived from San Antonio as a neglect surrender in early April, his condition was heartbreaking. He had open wounds on his face, neck, and legs. His coat was matted and damaged. He clearly hadn't received the care he needed for a very long time.

But somehow, through everything he endured, Rumpel never stopped loving people. His foster describes him as incredibly resilient. Even while healing, he would push into people for affection, squeak for pets, and happily hand out kisses. Every week he grew healthier, more comfortable, and more confident.

Today, the wounds are healed. The skin issues are gone. His coat is growing back. And for the first time in who knows how long, Rumpel gets to just be a dog. Recently he's started making friends with other dogs and has even begun showing his playful side. Watching him discover toys, play, and carefree moments has been one of the best parts of his journey.

Rumpelstiltskin's Highlights:

- 2 years old

- Heartworm Negative

- Microchipped

- Fully vaccinated

- Dog Friendly, moderately playful

- Easily redirected

- Affectionate and Loves Attention

- Enjoys Pets and Gives Kisses

Rumpelstiltskin never stopped believing people could be kind. Now he just needs a family to prove him right.

Rumpelstiltskin is currently being fostered in San Marcos, TX.

Kramer

Wild hair - don't care! Just like my namesake! Meet Kramer: a young, happy-go-lucky Chow Chow who just turned 3 months old!

Hi friends! I am looking for a home with someone to raise me with love and direction! No problems with being handled, walked, brushed or fed. I’m dog-friendly with proper introductions to any dogs I have met!!

My foster mom says I'm an absolute delight! I’m eager to see more of life with a forever human companion! I’m also FULLY potty trained, FULLY crate trained, and working on leash training!

I am best suited for a home with children over 12 that will respect my young energy by redirecting me to toys, teaching obedience and showing loving patience. I’m very smart already, but still learning about my sharp baby teeth. I may give you side-eye at the vet, but that is the only negative temperament I’ve shown!

Kramer is currently being fostered in Austin, TX.

Smokey

At just 3 years old and 42 pounds, this sweet shelter survivor has truly blossomed in foster care. Every day he continues to show what a wonderful companion he can be—gentle, silly, affectionate, and an easy cohabitant. He gets along well with other dogs of any gender and has done great around cats, showing little interest in them.

While he can be timid and reserved when meeting new people, once he feels safe and builds trust, his loving personality shines through. In fact, both of his fosters report that within just a few days he was happily accepting affection and seeking attention from his people.

About Smokey:

- Crate trained

- House trained

- Dog-friendly with proper introductions

- Cat-compatible

- Calm and well-mannered in the home

- Heartworm positive (his heartworm treatment is covered by the rescue)

He's playful with canine friends, enjoys human companionship, and has a wonderfully gentle nature. He even calmly tolerated bath time—though he'd politely prefer to skip the blow dryer next time! This deserving boy is ready for a family willing to give him a little patience as he settles in. In return, you'll gain a loyal, loving best friend.

Smokey is currently being fostered in Austin, TX.

Bobcat

Bobcat is the kind of dog who keeps life interesting. Equal parts goofy, independent, and charming, he's looking for a home that can match his energy and appreciation for adventure.

When Bobcat first arrived, shelter stress and boredom likely played a big role in his behavior. As he's settled into foster care, his true personality has come shining through.

Today, he's a happy, silly boy who loves attention, enjoys playtime, and has become increasingly affectionate with the people he trusts. One of his favorite hobbies? Bringing rocks to his people and insisting they be thrown. Balls are fine. Sticks are okay. But rocks? Those are the real prize. (PSA: No rocks were swallowed in the training of this pup!)

Highlights:

• Happy, goofy personality

• Loves adventures and staying active

• Becoming more snuggly and affectionate every day

• Smart and engaged

• Shows positive interest in meeting other dogs

• Food and treat motivated

• Thrives when given attention, enrichment, and things to do

Bobcat is a classic Chow in many ways. He enjoys companionship but also likes doing his own thing. The bond you build with him feels earned, making those moments when he asks for affection even more special.

His ideal home will be one that keeps him mentally and physically engaged. Whether that's walks, hikes, training, yard time, or daily adventures, Bobcat is happiest when he's included and has an outlet for his energy. Bobcat is ready for a family that appreciates his personality, respects his independence, and is excited to make him part of their everyday adventures.

Bobcat is currently being fostered in San Marcos, TX.

Castor

Castor is an adorably sweet, happy-go-lucky puppy looking for a family of his own. He was recently returned through no fault of his own and is ready for a fresh start with people who will love him forever. (Castor was born with the cosmic pups on 12/25/25!)

Castor is a social butterfly who loves spending time with his foster puppy friends and enjoys an active, playful lifestyle. He's friendly with everyone he meets and does a great job listening to corrections from other dogs.

Highlights:

• Friendly with people and dogs

• Loves to play with his canine friends

• Fully house trained

• Crate trained

• Fully vaccinated

• Microchipped

• Neutered

• Well-mannered and eager to please

Castor has all the characteristics of a wonderful family companion—sweet, social, playful, and ready to share his love with a family of his own.

Castor is currently being fostered in Austin, TX.
